We arrived safely at Portal RV Resort in Moab in early afternoon, notwithstanding an active engine fault code on the coach. It is a very nice, although very expensive resort. And they have Pickleball! We missed the Hummer off-road tour that morning, which we were told was outstanding. The only other organized event that day was dinner at Quesadilla Mobilla, a food truck in downtown Moab that sells only quesadillas. But very good quesadillas, with multiple toppings choices, the best quesadilla I have ever had.

Thursday was a free day. After a morning session of pickleball, the first time I have played in about 7 weeks, we visited Red Cliffs Lodge, on the Colorado River about 15 miles upstream from Moab. Red Cliffs Lodge was the site of a number of westerns and features a film museum.
This is the mannequin of Thelma that was in the Thunderbird that was driven off the cliff in the movie "Thelma and Louise" Canyonlands by Night recovered the T-bird and both mannequins from the river after the film shoot. Louise's mannequin was on display at their facility but was later stolen. Also on our free day Dorcas and I returned to explore Arches National Park. During our bus tour the day before it was impossible to fully enjoy the park and to take any good photos. I have included the photos from this day with those above. We had hoped to get back on time to go back to Quesadilla Mobilla to pick up a quesadilla for dinner and an extra one for later, but, alas, we returned more than an hour after Quesadilla Mobilla closed. DANG!
Tomorrow, God willing and the coach continues to run, we depart Moab and move to Torrey UT, in order to visit Capitol Reef National Park.
